Taking benadryl to cleanse receptors???

i used to use pickle juice to stop my rls, worked well. then i switched to apple cider vinegar and it works too. acetic acid is the key. 2 tablespoons.

b_cornelius so do you recommend Ketotifen for up regulating the receptors which gets suppressed with clen or ephedrine HCL use if a subject is using such compounds? Are there any other alternative options in your opinion? please advice. thanks mate

Umm, I don't have definitive proof, but I've always just assumed that GH upregulates the beta receptors (just like it seems to keep a lot of things going). One of the mechanisms in which it releases Free Fatty Acids from Adipose tissue is through upregulative action on Beta-3 receptors.

Otherwise, Ketotifen is a strong-and-long antihistamine that could make you tired all day, along with it's other side effects. If you can handle the side effects, then you could do it for awhile.

Personally, I take these antihistamines for their "full effect" I use them to stabilize mast cells and control inflammation.

Desloratadine (and loratadine) is similar to ketotifen, but it does not cross the brain-blood barrier. I haven't seen anybody do any research about it regarding the receptor-upregulation thing, but it may be possible. Recently they've been doing some diverse of research on desloratadine, and it's starting to look like one of those cure-all sorts of things. For me it certainly helps keep some issues under control.

in a round about way - take care of the needs of your cells and guess what? ...your receptors tend to work a lot better. your receptors are routinely renewed. all your cells are fashioned with a double layer of fats. even that squishy thing in your skull is around 60% fat. so when someone calls me a fat head - i know it's a compliment. good fats or bad fats you put in your mouth will strongly influence the ability of your cell membranes in the brain and in the nerve cells to function - that dovetails into how the receptors function and are renewed. bone up on your flax seed oil, walnuts, eggs, olive oil, fish oil (sardines/salmon) spirulina algae, spinach, grass fed beef, kitchen sink etc...
