Tanning...on Accutane

Hey everyone.

My hamster is on low-dose isotretinoin from MP Research supply, just 20mg a day (as opposed to the 100-120mg that most dermatologists prescribe). It's been working quite well and I'm pleased with his results, but the little guy comes from a strong Irish background and he happens to get quite pale quite quickly when not tanning. Before starting accutane he was tanning 2-3 times a week, usually for 10 minutes a session. This kept him moderately tan, but nothing crazy.

So here's my proposition. I've heard a lot of horror stories about tanning on isotretinoin because iso tends to make your skin very sensitive, especially to UV rays. What would you think if my hamster tanned 3 times a week for just 5 minutes each time...but also took MTII, 500mcg before each tanning session? It's the maximum tan with the least amount of exposure, and I've been playing around with the idea. He likes his tan, but of course doesn't want to do a whole lot of long-term damage to his skin.

Any comments/suggestions?

I just got off my prescription for Accutane. I was running 80mg a day. My dermatologist made it clear not to tan on it. But with your low dose maybe it would be okay?

That's exactly my inquiry. Does a low dose still make your skin overly vulnerable? I mean, my hamster's face has naturally dried out some, but NOTHING like when he was taking the pharmaceutical dosing at 100mg.

why risk it? just tan after you come off accutane, Mp works wonders after two weeks longer you stay on better it works.

I was on accutane I turned into a tomatoe from trying the Tanning bed on it.
No good and from what I recall the dr strongly advised against it

I discovered Keils tanning lotion. It is fucking dynamite stuff I used for the face. No streaking whatsoever. No orange look. Maybe a little orange loo but that good orange. Lol.

I use it everyday now.
