Taurine for low back pump -

I've searched and found a lot of posts on this topic, but not answering the questions that I have. I use 10g of taurine with my afternoon dose of Var about an hr before workout (4-4:30ish PM). The low back pump is still insane with the high dose of taurine. What is your experience with regards to taurine - do you use more than 10g or spread it out through the day? Do I need to supplement with something else as well?

I'm currently at 75mg of Var per day in 3 doses: morning, afternoon, night. The low back pump makes me want to nearly give up all together. Also taking Test E and EQ currently.

I gotcha. I've tried to upping water intake as well, but it's only possible to get so much water down. How much were you taking each dose?

You can try adding a half of a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in a glass of warm water. See if that helps.

magnesium taurate may help ( high dose mg )

I usually take potassium citrate to buffer blood pre wo, helps too.

I'm sure there's several attributing factors. Tho, I have to believe it's from slightly elevated plasma levels of calcium. Anabolic steroids have a tendency to increase calcium levels.

Elevated calcium can lead to distal renal tubular acidosis, which will manifest into lower back pains.

I take taurine for heart health, so any added benefits like that are just a bonus to me. It doesn't completely eliminate back pumps though. If you gain weight too fast, it's probably still going to be a problem (for me at least)
