I've been using telmisartan at 40mg for about 4 months now. It works great for lowering blood pressure and has a host of other benefits. The issue is that I've only used it in a calorie deficit. Studies show it can limit fat gain in a calorie surplus. What's making me nervous to use it in a calorie surplus is the fact it is a PPAR-GAMMA agonist. One of the many things this means is that in a calorie surplus, it could have the propensity to create fat cells.
Has anybody used this in a surplus or gaining phase? What were your results?
