What causes water retention with this. I've been using it for hrt for a while and estrogen is under control but there is still water retention. I think I might go back to favorite test prop. Unfortunately it's going to be a pain in the ass to pin every other day for the rest of my life

Contrary to popular misconception, Testosterone Enanthate actually AROMATIZES(converts in to estrogen) moreso than Propionate, and therefore, results in significantly more water-retention.

I always use a combination of esters, typically 250mg Enanthate every monday in conjunction with 100mg Propionate EOD. Get more BANG from your Testosterone with reduced side-effects..

how often do you inject? fluctuating levels increases the amount of water retention for me, switching from 1x/week to 2x/week clears it right up.

I still shoot just 1x/week while cruising, the water retention helps my joints feel better while on lower doeses, but its very mild for me since i keep my diet pretty tight and never eat excessive carbs

If I throw in .5 of adex every other day will that prevent the extra water. Diet is very clean and my sodium intake is low.

This is surprising to me, because the site of aromatization is at a different site in the molecule from the ester attachment. The rate of hydrolysis of the ester to liberate free test is pretty much inversely proportional to the length of the ester. Enanthate is a 7 carbon chain, whilst prop is 3 carbons. How does the length of the ester affect the aromatization rate? Can you point us in the direction of the paper that demonstrates this?
