Test levels were low on blood test and DR wont do anything about it

well just got back from my appt

told her my symptoms

No sex drive at all
tired all the time
Loss of strength
Poor recovery

and.....

she goes "well your total testosterone is fine (506 in a scale of 220-1100) so you are ok."

My free test as I said before was a 1.22 when low is considered 1.5 on this test.

so frustrated.

she then tried blaming it on dietary supplements.

All the more reason to find another doctor. My physician looks for test levels that are under 500. To him, you would be at the low end of his parameters. You would definately qualify for trt.
I would start doctor shopping.

My last blood test my test levels were low. I see an endo for my diabetes.

I had a check up at a regular physicians office and he saw the results and asked if my endo was doing anything about, which she is not.

This is the second time my Test levels have come back low. I dont have it in front of me but on this test 1.7 Was the low end of normal, and mine was 1.2

I am 24 and sick of having the sex drive of a 70 year old (been like that for about 1 to 1.5 years now), needing to take naps every day. I think because I workout my DR won't help me out. I have expressed these concerns for a year now...

Anyone have any advice? I am going to see her on Wednesday. Or anyone know of any good Endo's that specialize in Diabetes and other Hormones in the Upstate NY area?

See another doctor. Remember these people work for you. If that doesnt work you may have to take things in your own hands.

Its illegal to deny you test therapy if your out of the low range. tech you could be at the very very end of the low range and still tech be in range, then they can deny but outta low range they have to give you a script. I'd see a diff doc anyway.
