Hi!

How do you contrive to keep mass/strength after the end of test only cycles??? For me it's impossible regardless of using anti-oestrogens and HCG. Last time I was on test only cycle I did squat 190kgs x 4 ass to grass without any equipment and clean&jerk 135kgs. Even on PCT strength decreased to 175kgs in full squat.
At that moment PСT was
Weeks 1-8 Nolva 30mgs daily
Weeks 1-4 HCG 2000-3000 units

When I do anabolics only deca+dbol+insulin I lose a bit of strength and feel myself better than on test. Any thoughts?
 
I have done a lot of trial & error over the past decade in the hopes of minimizing the mass and strength loss that occurs post-cycle. I also find that the older I get, the longer the road to recovery. It's not a pretty picture...

But, for me - and I am not going to assume that anyone else's body will react the way mine does, so take this at face value - the best way to mimimize the post-cycle crash is the following:

1. Longer, and more moderate cycles. Gives my body time to adjust to the additional mass. Therefore, I feel, I am more capable of keeping more of it.

2. Keeping the calories HIGH after cycle. A calorie deficit plus a TEST deficit is a deadly combo for mass.

3. Switch to short-acting esters prior to ending cycle. Gives me better capacity to "time" my PCT.

4. HCG. For me, it's 500iu EOD for 3 weeks. Many people use much more, I find that this works best for me. I begin HCG w/in days of my last AS shot.

5. Nolva. 40mg/day for 3 weeks then 20mg/day for 3 more weeks.

6. I stopped using Clomid a few years ago because I found it turned me into a basketcase, even at low dose. For real, everything made me want to cry - terrible feeling.

I hate to break this to you but D-BOL is quite Androgenic.
Why do you do test only cycles? If you lose so much strength afterword's. The first time would have been enough for me. Do you eat the same while "on" do you train the same while on? You really should not be that much weaker while off if your resting enough and eating properly, now with that being said you certainly will not recover as well as you will while on but to maintain your size and strength post cycle you have to adjust your training, diet, and recovery and its possible to do this and still progress while off.
 
Well everyone is different. Iv done a test only cycle and didnt really like it. I grow much better with an equal amount of anabolics in there
