Half life is short but it also gets stored in your fatcells and is released very slow if i remember correctly
No, its not short, its around 22 hours.
As shown in this study.
"The half life is 22 hours and the bioavailability is 25%. Absorption of isotretinoin is markedly affected by the presence of fat and pharmacokinetic studies show that absorption can be doubled by taking isotretinoin with, or after, a meal compared with the fasting state"
I also included the point that it should also be ingested with a fat source.
