First of all, I am a NEW member to this board. I have visited this site several times over the last year to gain some useful information but never joined. I was a member on another site but have grown tired of all the junk posted(i.e. porn, 18yr old know it alls, ect.) I find this site to be a little more professional and informative.

I have been training hard for 18 months now and have made great progress. . I have my diet dialed in and feel I have a good understanding on diet combined with training to see results. I am 6’5” and weigh 240lbs with 15% body fat.

I have decided to try my first cycle of AAS. I am going to run a 10 week 500mg cycle of TESTOSTERONE ENANTHATE with one tab of CLOMID every-other-day followed by CLOMID Pct.

I would like some input on what to expect from this cycle. I know of an AAS user at the gym that was HUGE around Christmas time but in the last three or four weeks has dropped about 25 pounds and now looks average. Is this from an improper cycle or poor pct? When I look at him, I think what is the point?

Will I be able to maintain a good % of what I gain? Is there another member that has done a similar cycle that can share their results?

Again, thanks for the useful info over the last year or so!
 
well i know alot of bros who go nuts on cycle w food and training and then a week after their last shot, they eat like a bird, do no pct, and lift like a girl, not like u REA hehehe
so that would probably account for ure buddies losses
as for the clomid eod, thats what i do also, some here dont advise that, but i do it for peace of mind.
also people will say w/only 18mo of training to wait, but if ure gunna do it then id say this is an ok cyc for a new guy, let me ask this tho
what brand of enan r u using??
if QV then id sell what u have and get BV or amps

Personally, I like nolvadex better than clomid. It's a more effective estrogen blocker. Since estrogen is what shuts down natural test production, it makes sense that nolva would be more effective at keeping the balls working while on a test only cycle. Clomid post cycle could still be a good idea, but while "on" nolva is better. Also, nolva works well to keep the lipids in check. Some say that nolva hinders gains because of reduced igf production, but I think in reality, people are experiencing reduced water retention and thinking that they aren't gaining as much weight while on nolva. Alot of water retention isn't good though because of raising blood pressure. Natural igf production isn't going to be enough to even be noticed and I don't think anyone would miss it if nolva did hinder it's production. I always run nolva in my cycle. Recovery is always quick and I keep my gains very well.

As to what you can expect from 500 mg test per week, it's varies from person to person, but here's what I would guess. After about 2-3 weeks, you'll start feeling fuller and more pumped all the time. You'll start seeing more vascularity too. Then there's the horniness. You'll find yourself wanting to fuck like never before. Girls that previously looked hideous will start getting your attention. I don't know your stats, but about a 20-25 lb gain seems to be pretty common with a FIRST cycle with test. Just keep your protein high and train hard and all will go well.

As for keeping the gains, again, I would choose nolva during the cycle over clomid. You should be able to keep more than half of the weight gained if the pct is in order. Most of what's lost should be water. Recovering from a ten week cycle of test only isn't too hard, just be smart about coming off and you should'nt lose too much.

i always found ramping my diet and training to peak 2 weeks before my cycle ended, then maintaining that for 4 weeks then ramping down helped me keep gains better..

i personally think you need to train harder when you come off then while ur on if you dont want to be a yr round user...and keep your gains..

i'd rather gain and keep 15lbs than gain 25 and lose 15 after the cycle.. :D

you are right bro,a lot of guys use aas and after they done they stop training hard nad lose everything they gained.500mg its ok for beginer,i was useing that amount myself till this year so its going to work,and i do like clomid.everybody is diferent so you need to find whats working for you not against you.time will show,when you'll try this or that.
train hard on and harder off aas.

The test E cycle is good to go but i would expand it to at least 12wks do to the fact that the test will take a couple of wks to really kick in. for the anti-e, my choice would be arimidex but if your using clomid I wouldn't start it until mid cycle. being this is your 1st cycle your testicles will be ok and it will give you a chance to see the affects of the test e
