Testosterone Results OUCH TRT qualify

i went to a mens
vitality place
got my blood draw, today the nurse called
my total test was 299
OUCH im only 29 years old........ What should be my next step
i do not want to pay 20 bucks a week to get a shot at the clinic
what should I do that makes sense financially
should I go to my pcp
and show her the results and see if she will write me a script?

You need to be looking at free test levels not total test level. What was your free test level.

my father in law was fighting some depression and took matters in his own hands...and now with HRT is feeling way, way better...he is doing 200mg of script test cyp...and within a month I see a huge difference...Its good to see him get out and about, and want to get to the gym again, and do his martial arts again...

Get a second blood test from a normal doctor, not an HRT clinic before you commit to HRT for life. Make sure you are not dieting or in an over-trained state when you get the test.

As others have said above, you must get free and total test, you could still have good free numbers even with that low total.

Yes. IMO you need free, total, Estradiol, prolactin, LH, FSH to get a solid picture of what's going on before TRT. Make sure it's morning, preferably 8 to 10am.

You are in tough spot on this one, you have some important choices to make. The real question is, how do you FEEL? If you feel decent, energy, sex drive, etc, I wouldn't commit to TRT for life. Work on natural ways to increase your testosterone... If you plan on doing several cycles in the future, this might make TRT look more appealing...

Take the cyp and enjoy life! Everyone around you will love you even more, believe me! The only other thing that worked for my test levels were Tongkat ali and Brazilian nuts. Check out a book called the 4hr body..its on the best seller list

Good for you. *Go by how you feel* as you calibrate the test dosage, possibly an AI. My test levels pre HRT weren't horrible, but people differ in the efficiency of the binding of test and dht to androgen receptors. GH even plays a role in influencing the binding.

One person can feel great at a test level of 550, and another guy needs 900 to feel the same way. Likewise I feel way better with E2 at 20 than 40. Another person wouldn't notice the difference, or feel the opposite.
