Most of yall are just postin new mainstream stuff... blah. Man-o-war is were it's at!

Now this I can agree with........

No offense to people posting songs by Nickelback, Rage Against the Machine, Bullet for My Vallentine, but this stuff just isn't metal. It's not even close. In my opinion you have to go back a little bit and listen to some stuff to understand where most of the metal (which isn't mainstream what so ever) came from.

Sepultura - particularly the album ARISE!!!

Those bands I still listen to on a regular basis along with some other stuff peppered in between. One thing about Entombed that I thought was cool, and this is waaaay off topic, is that they have an album called Wolverine Blues. I guess Earache, which was there label at the time, made a deal with Marvel in hopes of getting some exposure. Marvel Comics did a very limited number of their CD covers and inserts for that album which I happen to have. It's a mini comic book with the band included. I guess Entombed was bummed out. They didn't want anything to do with the comic what so ever. The alternate version has tracks that were not released with the comic and is way harder sounding. Every single album Entombed ever did I liked. Those dudes just sounded raw as hell when they played.

The band below is called Demiricous. I grew up with these guys and two of them were my roommates for many years. All good dudes.
