The genetic limit on ultimate size and strength

Thanks man, I appreciate your support. That's what this board needs more of.

I'm 6', so 250lbs. at 6% wouldn't quite get me to Olympia-level size, but on the way. That's honestly one of the best compliments I've ever received and I look forward to showing you that physique in a few years.

And to clarify, no, I won't keep growing while staying at 6%.

This is 1-2 weeks before I started my diet. 250lbs., TRT for ~3 months, not dieting, no cardio.

I didn't realize that you were that tall. You have a great look when lean, deceiving, as I thought you'd need to weigh more at 6' for that look. And of course, I would never expect someone to stay 6% lean and grow.

As far as 250lbs lean, it's pretty close to IFBB standards. Watched an interview with Quinton Eriya (@quintbeastwood on instagram) and at 6'1" last year he was 252.5lbs on stage at the Toronto Pro and took 5th. This year he is hoping/shooting for being around 265lbs on stage. Thinks if he gets to a tight 270lbs he will be easily top 10 in the Olympia. He is only 24 years old, and that's an example of outstanding genetics for bodybuilding.

As far as the genetic argument, I understand many who claim that they've tapped out their genetics are not even close. Lot's of times it's an excuse for not giving it 100%. Myself at 6'5", last year I was only 236lbs on stage. I'm hoping to be at least 240lbs this year. Could I get to 250? Maybe still possible, even with my injuries and old age of almost 42. 260? I think that is a stretch for me at this point. If had done things properly in my 20s prior to herniated discs and other injuries, and knowing what I know now. I think so. Maybe even 270. But really I think that's it. I started going to the gym at 16 or 17, at 6'4" and 164lbs so I have definitely grown over the years, but genetic wise, I'm not meant to an open bodybuilder. Not in the cards, and I'm ok with that. There is a reason why there is only a handful of 6'5"+ open bodybuilders in the IFBB out of the millions of people that workout hard.
