Oh yeah i should have emphasized that. It reminds me of the year Gunther beat Ronnie in Europe but Gunther was dialed in 100% and RC wasnt pushing like he did for the O.

Just solely based on the physique, I think Krizo can hold his and beat just about anybody from the front. However, based on what I've seen from previous shows and pics, I don't think Krizo's back is as "complete" or developed from top to bottom from every angle as the other top guy's are at this point.

Sure, his back is huge(ie lat spread, think Kevin Levrone vs Flex or Ronnie), but doesn't have the overall depth and detail as the other top guys. Just my .02.

No disrespect here, but do you think GNC's customer really cared much if the winner of their sponsored show wasn't white? If anything, I think having anyone beat Ronnie at the time (no matter what race) drew interest back into comp bodybuilding b/c at the time he was thought to be almost unbeatable and that upset was quite shocking.

I wonder if anyone ever asked Jay if the fact that Ronnie lost had any effect on his mindset etc. I mean obviously he was determined to beat RC no matter what but was the invincible mystique affected in his mind. Im sure Jay started wondering ok i got next on this!

We’ll I was in that era pretty big and yea gnc back then was very centered in muscletech products along with a few other bodybuilding lines. I only know what I was told by IFBB guys and if you look at that show what was said about it makes sense when you look at the comparisons. I hate the race stuff I think it’s totally over hyped but this is one time that yea I believe it. And again the sports nutrition game was way different back then. And no I don’t think they cared if he wasn’t white as long as he was white.
