Bosly rx for oral minoxidil ,which is by far the best as far as potency, topical ,any local drug store in your area , oral requires a prescription , topical is otc
Yes definitely, makes it a lot easier than going to a dermatologist who might be hesitant to prescribe oral minoxidil
Can’t imagine a dermatologist having a problem prescribing minoxidil at such a small dosage . . . even duta or fina for that matter . . . for hair regrowth. That is what they are there for. If he won’t, find another dermi, they are a dime a dozen.

I stay on dutas for the BPH mitigation.
Frankly, at nearly 60 I can't be bothered with holding on to hair. Though I never was, I never wanted to look like a guy desperate to hang on - that's not me.
Having been a (straight-edge) skinhead earlier in life and shaved a few times I was comfortable with my head shape. I think it suits my Sicilian facial structure and wifey agrees
I don't beleive it telling people "just shave it off" if that's not what they want, but it works for me.
Fortunately - surprisingly - no sides, even at 0.5mg every weekday.

Well the ones I seen didn’t have a problem with fina or duta , although some thought duta was a bit of overkill , they seem to be hesitant and Leary about oral minoxidil , one dermatologist told me oral minoxidil was a blood pressure medication that worked when all other bp options failed , minoxidil would work and he told me to this day nobody knows why minoxidil causes hair growth, it was just a side effect seen all over the country back in the day , look up wolf man syndrome from oral minoxidil, some crazy stuff man , some people grow hair everywhere, strange places like the entire neck is covered front to back and sides with heavy black hair , women were growing full beards , jet black hair on their forehead, yes forehead, now thats a bad look no lol ? trust me buddy save time , just buy oral minoxidil online , they will push you into using it ,but be aware of possible side effects from it ,instead of waiting months for a appointment only to be told ,ah let’s hold off on that one , he said try the topical, which I did not , no time for 2 times a day putting that nasty stuff in my hair vs 1 pill a day , btw , 5% topical minoxidil twice a day was equal to 1mg day oral minoxidil, most say sweet spot is 2.5mg to 5mg a day for oral minoxidil results to side effect ratio, making it much more powerful than topical
Yes sir , he is right also I believe, did you ask him about oral minoxidil? If no next time ask him and see his reaction lol ? Maybe your guy will be good with it , but a lot of them are not
As a side note, when I told my dermatologist that I quit the duta and fina due to the unwanted sexual sides (w/ micro dosing) he said that in retrospect, the usage studies had severely under reported these side effects. This recently came to light.
