The Mountain Dog/John Meadows Way

My joints and tendons are all nice and quiet and aren't screaming "WTF" at me anymore. Definitely a way to lift heavy, hard, and long without dealing with major aches and pains (aside from that pain felt when pushing the slag around).

I have to agree here too.. That my joints and tendons feel really good.. I just got done with 9 Weeks DC and I feel great.. Usually by week 6 to 8, I have minor aches, but not this time around. I give credit to my dietary changes.. Specifically my incorporation of more saturated fats and homemade bone broths.. Some features of a mountaindog diet.
 
John I really appreciate your responses and love the diet club part of your site.

I've just got one last one for ya if you wouldn't mind... if one had the freedom to train with the utmost intensity on any day and had no joint issues would a slightly greater frequency bear more fruit? Ie, E5D or E6D?

If you are a genetic freak and have super-recovery like Ronnie Coleman, or someone like that, then yes. The vast majority would be best to stick with once a week though for most bodyparts. The intensity is so high, you just need off days to truly recover.

I just did that leg workout, WTF I was in so much pain, i had to take the handicap ramp.

I train legs and train them hard, and this workout was hard to get through!

good stuff, can't wait to try some of your techniques for other body parts!
 
I started your program last sunday after two weeks off (periodization), damn!

5 days later my legs would still hurt.

Second workout sunday 14th November, legs start to ache more and more everyday :D what a pain. Love it!
 
Plus, I do want to say that many many people do really well doing 12 weeks of MD training, rest up, then 12 weeks of DC training....and back and forth. Really keeps the body guessing....

I knew I read this somewhere....I asked about this in another thread.
