Conan was white not pacific islander his physical apperance is not like the illustrations i dont care what special effects they use its gonna suck the end might as well remake rambo with toby mcguire

Its 2011, everythings gotta be diverse, to hell with being historically accurate or period correct. Look at the upcoming Thor movie, its about Viking Norsemen of Nordic ethnicity, but they have given it the diversity treatment as well, casting one of the main characters who was White in the comic books as Black.

how Robert E. Howard (his creator) described him also he said Conan was 6'2" and 210 lbs.

sounds about right for this film.

Yes, the diversity thing has gotten way out of hand. When you read sex/relationship ads you notice something funny. It's ok to seek your own color w/o apologies unless you are caucasion. Everytime I see a white female (in my area) seeking a white male, she apologises for not wating to sleep with any race/color, every single time. Why should you apologise for what type of partner turns you on? The American "PC" climate.

Imop Conan wasn't the best movie (yes i like Arnold) but going to the well once again will more than likely be a flop.

Yes exactly. In many of the REH stories, Conan is said to be of white race. But his description is anything but white. He is often described as having dark skin.
I think they have done a good job.
