It's gonna be another "Light's out baby, game over"....as big Ron puts it bluntly. Ronnie will be the champ until he decides he's done. I just don't understand how he can consistently train that heavy and remain so healthy. And yet he's what, 43-44? The guy is an absolute freak, no question.
Sorry, but he's all gut and ass. There are a number of pros who should be placed above him. Shawn Ray at his best, Serge Nubret, Francis Benfatto, Etc. I'd like to see a return to asthetics and a physique more pleasing to the eye.
Ray was a good competitor but "too small" to carry the weight Mr "O" calls for. I guess you can say that the "Mr. O" stands for "Mr. O" my God " kind of physique in which Ronnie displayed over the last 8 yrs and im sure will continue to display for a couple more years. When we think about it, common sense tells us that this is what the head of the IFBB wants as " Mr O" as this Look generates alot more revenue then the Ray look, as Ronnie physique and Heavy Poundage movements of weight has a impact on the minds of the average Masses as something thats out of this world/unachievable, which therefore causes the O" physique to be that more Admired, as a result that much more Revenue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEE-zAnlB_0
i love the aesthetic look also Tom, lee labrada is my all time favorite but coleman has that special mutant look to him, so far from attainable you have to just laugh. i too saw the pics when his left elbow was inflammed and it looked bad but it seems to have healed nicely and is not a factor.
