Get set up with Crypto currency.

2) Register your basic information and link a bank account to cash app.
3) Now you will need to set yourself up to buy Bitcoin. There is a Bitcoin tab on the bottom right of the app. Click that, and there should be a couple of simple instructions on sending in a picture of your ID and information.
The verification process will take 24 hours.
4) Wait 24 hours.
5) CashApp will notify when your verified, then its fairly simple from there.

A VPN helps keep you more anonymous in general. Its definitely more timely and costly for LE to subpoena your VPN company for records than it is for them to just find your address by your IP and then link that to some social media content verifying who you are. Again if you are the target of a legitimate investigation there is no real saving grace, but this keeps you now 2 steps ahead of the other guys.

Step 3:
Start using an encrypted email.
This has been talked about time and time again. And as the disclaimer states and I will re state over and over, this is not fullproof but it makes you a much less attractive target than the guy using his gmail.
Its simple, it is way more of a pain in the ass to subpoena Proton a company based in another country, than it is to gain access to your regular gmail or yahoo account.
So now your 3 steps ahead of the johnnysteroids and the guys using yahoo.
Protonmail.com offers free encrypted emails easy to setup and use.
Step 4:
Track your packages differently.
When a source provides tracking, don't go to the fedex or usps website and log your IP to a package that has potentially scheduled items in it. Instead use Universal Parcel Tracking - Global Package Tracking (parcelsapp.com)
And use your VPN when your online with anything to do with steroids. This step is minor but it gives you more deniability if somehow a pack was intercepted and later you were questioned about the package. You cant deny it if you checked it 9 times from your phone and CPU on fedex or USPS....
4 steps ahead and now your not the lowest hanging fruit anymore.

Upload your images properly.
A picture says 1000 words right? Well in this case a digital picture holds a lot of information about you and the device used unless you WIPE THAT DATA FIRST!
So great you have made some gains and wanna show them off to your buddies, but you dont want Johnnyhackerfuck to know where you live and what kind of iphone you have.
A few simple steps remove that data and keep you safer:
1) Right click on the image file and select properties
2) Select the details tab
3) Click the "remove properties and personal information" light blue hyperlink towards the bottom right of the tab.
4) Select "Create a copy with all possible properties removed.
Now you have the original file and a 2nd file. The new copy is safe to post.
And that is 5 ways you can make yourself less likely to end up in a bad situation.
