yeah, lemme tell you about a bad gym. It was an expensive place in la jolla california I was checking out that was chock full of homoerotic Faconnable/Armani Exchange guys and snotty vegan bitches. I went to the less expensive place down the street (only 80 bucks a month) and the bitch factor was definitely reduced.

only 80? damn i only pay like 20 or 30 a month at LA fitness.

tell me about it. I pay 12 bucks a month for a strip mall gym (it has everything I need, though) now, and shudder thinking about high gym prices down in that area. They do have the snotty vegan bitches to look at, though

I train at a gym that is an "athletic club". Most people in my area think its an upscale family fitness center and a few of my friends rag on me for going there. The weight room is at the end of a long hallway, all by itself in it's own little section of the building. They have all the free weights and every machine I could possibly ever want and nobody says shit to anyone in the weight room. You can do whatever you want and i've never seen anyone enforce any kind of rule the whole time i've been there. Because it's an "athletic club" they have dozens of each type of cardio machines and they are all top of the line.
Its a great place to train for me and I really like it there. If I let the "athletic club" thing scare me away I never would have gone there to check it out.

sounds to me palnet fitness is a glorified curves with more equipment. I would rather pay double the rate just to go somewhere else. what a joke.
