I've trained at those rough places and a I have the injuries to prove it. it's cool you are getting big and doing bjj. Lots of people tell me I can't do both.

I honestly thought it would be okay to continue on the carbs if i didn't drink water. I also had a lot more sodium. I should have communicated better with Scott, stuck with just protein after pre-judging (i was really full), and kept on point basically. It was entirely my fault.

Dropshot: I stopped doing BJJ really far out from the show. I didn't want to get injured. I started back up last week though and am looking to do a few grappling tournaments (especially the Arnold Classic NAGA) before dieting down again next year.

Dante: Time flies when you're running a successful business, a family, and living life! Do you get to sleep anymore? My girlfriend got me the FLEX issue with you and Dusty for my birthday. VERY COOL!

On a side note: I tried synthelator for the show... HOLY CHRIST! That's an absolute must have from now on. As long as synthetek is around, I'm never competing again without using synthelator. It was a dramatic difference in vascularity and I didn't have ANY issues with cramping. It was flat out amazing. I think that's why my skin looks a little red. It felt like a niacin rush a little bit.
