Nah I think training goes before recovery, just think of all the people who sleep well and eat good, if we are speaking bodybuilding, they don't look fit just small or thin. I know a lot of college guys for example that party train and study like crazy only getting a few hours of sleep a night, and they still have decent builds. You WILL benefit from training if you don't rest, just not even close to the same degree.
Also I all those things you list are the "Physicals" I group Physicals as one when I look at whats most important. I feel that your Mind and your emotions are a bigger factor then your physical, the first 2 control the physicals.
