She's said she wants it [space] so give it to her. Clingy sucks. According to the beliefs you have, you slipped up. I don't think we are expected to be perfect or we wouldn't have needed a Savior, right?

You've already said you were sorry and that you screwed up. That's all you can do. Just continue being a good man. If that's all it takes for her to throw away the relationship, then there must be something else bothering her as well. She needs to ease up a little. Thats just my opinion on the subject.

You can't control her behavior, just work on you own and let the chips fall.

thanks everyone...

just wanted to throw out a quick thank you to all who helped me out on this one. things have been going much better, not as up and down constantly, but still a little which is to be expected. i am very encouraged at this point and still think we'll be back together. if i could ask one thing though, if you feel like it i would apprceciate your prayers, for guidance, forgiveness and whatever else the lord leads you to pray. also, for myself, i have kind of been struggling with a few things about her past, and while it does not bother me even close to as much as it used to, i still get bothered every once in a while, but these things happened before she was a christian, and she's a different person now. and i was no angel as well so...if anyone of you could just say a quick prayer for me and kate, i would apprciate it a lot. thanks!

no problem, you and her both have been in and will continue to be in my prayers.. good luck, and dont let the past bother you. we all have things we have done that we arent proud of, its whether you continue to do them that proves whether you have gottten wise, or have become a fool.
wise men learn from their mistakes and dont repeat them, fools make mistakes and continue to make them over and over knowing what they did was wrong.
also, concerning her past, hindsite is always 20/20 man, we can all wish we did things differently, but its how we handle stress and those situations that make us more mature and knowledgeable.
