There’s a curious mismatch in how people allocate their mental effort; overthinking the peripheral while underthinking the significant.
I suspect it functions as a kind of emotional self-support, where people mistake busy thought for meaningful insight, thereby avoiding true reflection.
Fuck..I sound like an old man on a hill...![]()
You sound like you’re on the level. I asked a retard last night who had bands on the hack squat to decrease distance “ why don’t have the bands in there? He said its just a different kind of resistance” and I said “ you mean it makes it easier” he said no it’s just different” and I said why don’t you just take some weight off and do it the right way ? He said he didn’t need advice from the likes of me. And I told him that cool keep wasting your time and keep looking like you duly even train retard. Abd the while time he’s got a fucking tripod up filming himself. lol all these retards are just retards. Plain and simple: low intelligence raised on fruitcake social media thinking they are all amazing for god knows what. Hawk I prob sound old too because I just don’t rake to this retard pussification. There’s a curious mismatch in how people allocate their mental effort; overthinking the peripheral while underthinking the significant.

We had a t bar row in an old gym I trained at in the 90’s. It was like a balancing act because with any decent amount of weight on it, if your feet weren’t perfectly placed, you were being pulled of it by the weight!I don't remember chest supported T bar rows in 1990. I miss the old days.
I literally said to a tripod kid the other day, "where we come from, we'd be about 50 lbs. heavier and have 2 or 3 shows under out belts before we start filming" He looked at me like I was crazy! lolI bully the tripod nerds and i have no shame![]()

Bybon sounds absolutely full of shit.I am always reminded of this...
The 6th-century BCE, 316-pound limestone block found in Olympia, Greece, features an inscription by the ancient Greek athlete Bybon, which reads: "Bybon, son of Phola, has lifted me over his head with one hand"
Move the heaviest thing you can move over and over, and when that becomes easy, move something heavier, and for father, and you will become bigger and stronger.
My fav was a bar mounted to a u joint that was attached to a platform i could stand on. I could get bent over enough so i could actually pull away from gravity and engage my lats. Most stuff that is in the gyms i train at now is pretty upright. So the bar and hinge supports the weight as the angle is increased when pulling up. Makes lifting easier and more ego gratifying with the mechanical advantage that gives. But lat engagement is tough. Especially for a short guy like me as i just end up doing a high row.We had a t bar row in an old gym I trained at in the 90’s. Plus it wasn’t fixed to the floor so would rock
