those "ideal bodybuilder measurement" calculators...

you ever go on there, put in your measurements, and see what your measurements "should" be?
there;s some where u put in wrist, knee, ankle, whatever and they come up with ideal.
im as close as i can get, maybe chest is a few inches bigger. but i dont look like an ideal physique dude.
i wonder what real bb'ers and physique guys measurements would be compared to those calculators.

I've always heard the arms should be at a minimum half the waist and this makes sense. Looking good is all about proportions. You can have 20 inch arms but if your waist is 40....

Google ideal body proportions. I came up with this. I think they call it The Golden Ratio.

Summary: To achieve the ideal male body, you want your flexed arms and calves to be 2.5 times larger than your non-dominant wrist, your shoulders to be 1.618 times larger than your waist, your chest to be 6.5 times larger than your wrist, and your upper leg to be 1.75 times larger than your knee.

Well going off of this then I’m right on par with “The Golden Ratio”… Need 1.3” on my chest though.. Guess I still got work to do! Thanks for the explanation!

I think they usually say that your neck, arms, and calves should all measure about the same. Easy to look at that.
