Those of you that cut & mix your own posing music...

Apparently things have changed in the last couple of years, and you only get 60 seconds for a posing routine. I had someone mix one for me about a month out at the 90 seconds I'm used to, but just found out that only have 60. (believe it or not, it was not anywhere only competitor information on the event flyer, had to email the district chairman).

For those of you that make show music, what software do you use, is there something I can just download off the Internet? Everything that I have is in my iTunes, so what would be the best way to go about it?

Audacity is what I use as well. I have mixed for myself and several others using it.

Yep...Audacity let me cut it & save as a WAV file.

That'll work. In 2007 & 2008 I randomly downloaded trial programs that would let you do at least 3 cuts and saves before it rendered itself useless and you had to buy. Glad you found something.

I have heard about this 60sec routine and didn't know if it was NPC-wide or not. Kinda sucks....90 was great. 60 is probably great for guys that had stage fright! Don't you know, they must have had to shorten it for all the MEN'S BIKINI rounds that have been added!

Adam Mcvey made a good point...why the fuck does mens and women's bikini need a morning AND a night show?!

I compete in the NPC but i know the NABBA still uses the 90 second routines.
I think they are shorting things so they can add the new shit.

Npc in Florida is 60 sec too but if u go up to the 90sec they let u.i seen it over a million times.i use to cut my own and was so ocd to make it 60sec only to notice other guys were up there longer than me.all they do is cut the music if u taking too long.that only hurts u if u have an ending pose to match the end song.And the fla npc head judge Pete is very very strict.everyone says his an ass but he really isn't. He always tells the bikini girls in the competitor meeting ...GIRLS if I see that bikini up the crack of your butts that u cant even see the bikini u be disqualified on the spot.i will ask u to leave the stage.we have families in the audience with kids that don't need to see the inside of u.save that for your husbands or bf for later in the night we are not in a porn set so keep it covered.we can see what we are looking for right over the bikini but some girls do show there guts when they come out but he don't ask them to leave.but guarantee that they don't win even if she is the best looking one up there

Audacity is probably the best for what you need. If you don't like it, just google free audio editing programs and you'll find a bunch.
