Those who use melatonin

When you take it at night it's more likely to make you tired because your pineal gland is active at night and that's what produced natural melatonin. During the day it is not so I could see taking a small dose with a preworkout would not make you tired. I've never tried it though.
 
As far as I understand meletonin has to be used while your eye is open in the dark to have an increased tiredness from it. To rely on it as an antioxident is kind of lame when there are a million antioxidents that should be in your diet already. And i do recall muscle and fitness having an article about taking it before a workout years ago. Again, the article stated meletonin during the day in the light should not make you tired.
 
Read a study years back on melatonin increasing GH output coupled with peptides .. Been using it religiously ever since. Also take ZMA.

Been using it for years and works wonders for shift work. There can be side effects such as stomach pain. I get that from consistent usage over 3mg. I believe you only need 0.4mg for activity and the rest is processed out by the liver and kidneys.

It also tends to give vivid dreams and some the potential of lucid dreaming.
 
Zma, Melatonin, and MK-677 is my prebedtime stack. Damn near puts me in a coma.
 
I keep both 3mg and 10mg on Bedside. Haven't taken ambien in a couple years. For me, Melatonin tends to help me stay asleep better, rather than get to sleep. Using a CPAP, I tend to wake up to easy if my head turns, and the melatonin nights seem to be better combatting this. One problem I have is a use my IPAD almost everynight to get to sleep and some studies have shown the blue wavelengths of light from it hinder the sleep process.

Filters are actually available, but I have yet to buy one.
