My HDL is 37. This test is very similar to my panel last February.
I’m on 240 cyp and 120 mast e a week. I was on 1mg of Arimdex a week last panel so I changed to 20mg Nolvadex a week thinking that may be causing the bad numbers. I do 20-30 minutes cardio at least 6x a week. My diet is fairly clean. Dr didn’t like my numbers last year but gave it another year before looking at statins. Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful for supplements to try without going on statins would be great.

2-3g EPA Daily
Increase your cardio intensity
Drop sugar intake down to help with triglycerides

See Pheedno's note above, and I'd also consider dropping the mast and see how it looks. Mast is fairly mild but even on very low doses it messes with my LDL.

Everything's fine except for LDL, but not all LDL is bad. Without the proper LDL test, you dont really know.
Like Flex500 said, if Mast might be causing the LDL issue, you dont really have a problem. But the Mast for 3 months and re-test...

I hope your Doctor is suggesting statins on those numbers. If he is, I seek another Doctor.

Try 1000 mg citrus bergamot, ground flax seed is known to drop LDL, Panthothenic acid, and Berberine. Check numbers again in 3 months.

I can only dream of cholesterol numbers this good.

Even off everything, eating clean, my numbers are way above these. My HDL is higher than yours but you still have a better ratio.

I went back 4 years and my numbers were similar. Only on mast the last 2 blood panels. Thanks for the feedback.

Dr always makes me think I have issues and wants to prescribe statins. Not going that route. Thanks for the reply

Novla raises triglycerides and HDL. The supps and cardio mentioned lower triglycerides and LDL. But I don't think I've ever seen someone worried with numbers like those. I wouldn't be.

If you won't do the statins, the below WILL get your LDL under 100.

Ezetimibe 10mg/day
Krill Oil: 6 grams a day 2g 3x/day
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 4 caps a day
Jarrow Red Yeast Rice Extract 1 600mg cap, 2x a day
Pantethine: 450mg 2x a day
Beta Sisterol: 2 grams (1 gram 2x a day(
NOW Policosanol 1cap 2x a day
Cardarine 20mg/day

The key ratio is Total to LDL and you want that at no higher than 2.8 to 1

His current ratio with a total cholesterol of 200 and a HDL of 37 puts him at 5.4 to 1 This is not good especially long term. Yes, fine for a blast or end of a blast but def not long term.

Ideally, you want LDL at 70. All cardiologist will tell you that the body cannot lay down plaque at a level of 70. That being said, I don't think it's a great idea to try to get below 70. Cholesterol is needed for too many functions in the body.

[/QUworrisome.

Understood Yeah, if completely on cruise it's worrysome. Hence my suggestions and others.

Update after 3 months on Berberine and Citrus bergamot. Total cholesterol went from 200 to 171. HDL stayed at 36
LDL dropped from 147 to 119. I’m going in the right direction. Hopefully by the end of the year I can break below 100 for LDL.

Can anyone give me feedback on my CBC panel which is all back in line as well.
These 3 stay below range and I can’t figure out why. Looks like the last 3-4yrs they have stayed low
MCV. 75. 79-97 range
MCRH. 22. 26-30
MCHC. 29. 31-36

Could be a sign of a blood disorder such as anemia. Did you check for that?

this is the geometry of the red blood cells. mine are similar they change all the time its a dipstick in time when you get blood work. go back tomorrow and it could be up 1 or down 1. generally doctors never talk about it cause by itself its not a cause for concern.

Do you donate whole blood on a regular basis? Did your doctor look at an iron panel?

I do and have fought with it for years. With all the recent posts I stopped the every 8 week donation. Gallon of water a day has made a big difference.
