Thoughts on routine MC or 3 day split

Hey Guys,

I am on a cutting diet of about 2250 calories w 300 grams of protein around150 grams of cars. For my workout routine I currently do:

Day 1 Legs/Shoulders/cardio
Day2 Back Bis/ abs/cardio
Day 3 Chest Tris
Day 4 Cardio/stretching.
Repeat
I have been thinking about going right in to the 3 day split after the 4th day to do a 5x5 workout once a week then another day off and start the 3 day split... kind of combining a split with a 5x5... What do you guys think.

Or should I do a DC Routine? Seems like a lot of people on here like the result from that.

You will no know until you try. There is no right workout. You need to find what works best for you.
 
Been doing 3 day split a day off then I do a full body 5X5 heavy weights... then I start over... Its been working awesome
 
I have found that doing Chest/Bi's and Back/tri's helps me not get so fatigued in my arms. Try that split out for a little bit and see you if you like it. This is what I was working on today for my new Training plan.

Monday
Chest/Bi's
Medium/Heavy

Tuesday
Back/Tri's
Medium/Heavy

Wednesday
Shoulders/Calves
Medium/Heavy

Thursday
Legs
Medium/Heavy

Friday
Off

Saturday
Upper Body (no back)
Light/Medium Volume

Sunday
Lower Body (add Back)
Light/Medium Volume

I'm adding cardio in 4 days a week.

Looks like a good layout, similar to PHAT but with an extra recovery day which will definitely help while cutting.
Only one way to find out- give it a run!
 
Yeah I have liked it so far... last friday I killed my whole body i had to reset the whole weekend!! Feels good just changing it up.
