Thoughts on when to hit legs before a show...

Hey guys, this is the last piece of the puzzle I am struggling with before junior nationals.... I know the thinking for most is around a week so the blood is completely gone from the leg, the counter arguement, is that you will lose size/fullness. Just want to hear different opinions on this one... My thinking after the Cal is that I want to hit them Sunday or Monday, and actually still include some hack or hammer v squats in there, or at least some leg press supersetted with sissy squats... I know that I will be training back heavy the wednesday before the show, as my back looks a whole hell of a lot better and more detailed days after a heavy workout....thanks guys in advance....
 
I personally stop working out legs at 1 1/2 weeks out. any sooner and my cuts are still a tad blurry.

I notice that my cross striations are showing far better today than on stage, but, size is down....I am leaning towards sunday, but still not sure...
 
I know a guy who stops working legs a month before a show. I don't understand the logic behind that. I'll have to ask him about it.
