It seems like many of us have thyroid issues for whatever reason.

Just trying to get a sense of how many of use are using meds year round.

I am 52 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 3 years now. I am prescribed 150mcg/day of levothyroxine (t4)

My reverse t3 is Chonically high
I use 100mcg T4 and 25mcg T3 year round
my reverse t3 is chronically high I was thinking about trying something like this.

You know what your bloods are on this?

35mcg T3 / 54mcg T4. Year round as scripted by TRT doc.

From my most recent bloods:

TSH 1.96 uIU/mL
Free T4 1.07 ng/dL
Free T3 3.1 pg/mL

Question for all your guys prescribed thyroid meds.

Do you think you need them now due to using/abusing them in the past or just natural down regulation over time or caused by something else.??

99% of bodybuilders using thyroid meds are doing it because GH are interact with your thyroid and they just needed. There's no benefits with using it in healthy ppl who doesn't use GH. In case you have any Thhyroid problems for any other reasons (Despite long term caloric deficit) you should go to the endo doc and take the step you needed.

I started taking them over 15 years ago a short time after starting TRT to get them in an optimal level. That was pre gear and HGH.

i noticed when i take 4 iu of gh or more i need t3 to prevent lethargy. since i stay on hgh atleast 9 months of the year, is it okay to take 25mcg of t3 daily?

i am now just on 2iu to clean out and cruise so hopefully i don't need the t3, but i don't mind staying on it year round if its okay? i seen people on it for 2 years recover fine.

Are you serious right now? Do the blood works and you'll know 🤯

we don't have private labs in canada to keep testing. i get it done once a year thats all the doc approves for. all i know if if i stop the 25mcg t3 i have super lethargy from hgh especially in morning getting out of bed and drag ass all day. soon as i take 25mcg within 2-3 days it disappears. so its more anndectoal for me. just wondering if others have had similar expereinces.

Do you guys feel a mid-low normal Free T3 justifies going on thyroid meds? I've been noticeably more sensitive to cold the last year or so, and quite a bit more fatigued. Discussed with doctor but TSH came back normal so that was the end of that.

I got my free T3 tested out of curiosity, it came back at 2.9 (2.3-4.2 range).... I'm not as familiar with T3 ranges as I am with testosterone, is a number like this typically considered to be problematic?
