Thyroid Stimulators

Does anyone have any comments or experience w thryroid boosters that have worked well? I know there is armor thyroid t3/t4 etc. but want to see if there are any effective natural stimulators out there?

Sort of like:

HCG = stim natty test from testes
GHRP/peptides etc. = stim natty GH fro pitutary
Clomid = stim LH/FSH from pituitary
??? = stim thyroid to release t3/t4??? any peptides or natural products?

Guggel (plant extract)

As a student, I have access to thousands of big-time medical journals and guggel was found to stimulate and eventually regulate the thyroid. I'll look for some more.

theres synthetic TSH but its gonna run you a fortune.

Id like to see those studies on guggul. From what i have seen it is pretty much worthless.

There are so much crap in the supp world and on the net which most, im sure is BS.....

Most OTC fat bunners will increse metabolic rate to some degree. Synthburn would be a good choice.

ECA would be most effective, but if you have a under active thyroid only prescripion meds will get the job done.

Now Foods has an all natural product that is supposed to increase thyroid function. I have no experience with it though....

The NOW brand is exactly what ive got a friend of mine on, doctor Tests show that he has an underactive thyroid(he was 400 lbs at one time).

Since he has been on the NOW stuff he has dropped 15 lbs in about 3 weeks. he has more energy and feels awesome.

I dont know if this would do much for someone with regular thyroid function, but for those that have underactive thyroid i highly recommend this stuff!

I will give it a try. I have been taking my temp in the am and its a bit low right were they say you "may" have an underactive thyroid. I have been trying to cut and have really been doing well with the diet but I cannot seem to drop fat. I used to sweat bullets in the am after my morning cup of coffee and now no sweating anymore.....I really cannot tolerate eca or clen either due to rapid heartbeat and racing.....(hate it). I will give this a try. The ingredients look pretty good and complete.

Iodine

Im pretty sure it was due to the iodine content of the kelp. There is a thyroid test called the iodine uptake test. From my understanding it lets you know if there is insufficient iodine in your dietwhich may be impairing thyroid function.
