My dr switched me from synthroid to armour thyroid 180 mcg or whatever unit they come in. Have any of you went through this kind of substitute. I like the idea of a little t3? Do you think I will lose fat easier now and could it possibly fuck my current and future gains?

In my opinion if it's prescribed by a dr it's for replacement. So you on a low dose of t3 is what I would produce naturally. So just because your on replacement therapy doesn't mean you will lose weight. That's like saying how big will I get on hrt test at 125 mg a week? Well, not big at all. Trust me, my aunt is on thyroid medicine and fat as fuck

lol sorry to hear that.

I know there is a diminishing return for t3 and that it can become catabolic to your muscles at certain doses and that is the last thing I would wish for.

Main difference is you may need to dose 2x a day vs 1x because of short half life of the t3.

Really not enough info for anyone to give an educated response. Doc may make the switch because of your body's inability to convert t4 to t3, or for the anti depressant effect of the armour combo, or something else, who knows, you don't say.

So many other factors too, like are you on gh or gear...
