TIL Ronnie Coleman gained 40lbs of stage weight between the 2002 and 2003 Mr. Olympia

This, i have seen this so many times, storys change over time and vary from podcast to podcast.. it would be freakin cool if ppl could just be open and honest, but the world just isnt ready for this. We still have ppl who think alot of pro sports are doping free..
We also have to remember these guys haven’t competed for a very long time so they might not remember every detail of every drug cycle. I can barely remember cycles I did a year or two ago

Yes. I believe very few can recite each and every cycle since they started. Some kept very accurate records (Yates, Milos), some can’t remember what they had for breakfast that day. And before the internet made those drugs so easily available, I believe they took whatever they could get their cold slimy hands on. And that probably changed with each and every purchase. Then purity was probably not so much an issue (think pharma) so dose response could be more easily predictable and reliable.

Just a few things out of thousands to consider.

I just saw an interviw in Brazil that he did yesterday or the day before. He didn't go into specifics but said that the first thing Chad did when then started working together was doubling the dosages of PEDs and food.

Also, from another interview, from William Martins who was working with Chad last year or so, the off season was:

3-500 test P
900 tren E
900 Deca
Some oral i don't remember.

Mines on the fact that the equipment and processes are already in place for producing iron plates.
Would take extra money to make something new and put it into production. Thus if it ain’t broke, they ain’t fixin it. Especially if it costs money and the margin is only slightly better for the new product.
 
Just a few comments. Many guys in the past did come off all gear for 1-4 months in the year. There was none of this blasting, cruising and trt which many think of now. Kevin Levrone is a prime example and he literally wouldn't even train and would shrink fast but within a few weeks of being back on he would morph into his freaky self. There is so much bullshit in regards to Ronnie and drugs but he definitely come off after shows but I am sure it wasn't for long. The interview above from his own mouth shows a decent stack and I am sure those doses would have been much higher at certain points.

I have also seen plans from some of the old school coaches who are considered the best in the world and they are ridiculous in many ways. Aceto comes to mind and 4 weeks of not injecting then 4 weeks of HCG etc then the guy basically goes back on and he talks like he went off. All the long esters were probably still lingering 6 weeks after the last shot then they flooded their system with drugs to artificially elevate testosterone etc then they went back on. So it's not exactly coming off but sure they may have not taken any AAS for 2-3 months. Many do the same and I have mates who would tell me they are off everything then they tell me they are using dbol preworkout to get a good pump and maybe 4 weeks later they are back on test etc.
 
Jay cutler said in this Greg doucette interview he always took breaks coming off cold turkey

This might be reaching but his body language and the way he's speaking, says he's leaving a few things out and is picking and choosing what details are appropriate. For who he is, it's understandable to leave out some details as I don't see Cutler as someone going far into details like some guys do.

Sure Ronnie had genetics, but show me a pro today with that worth ethic.

It’s going to be a while IMO before anyone is willing to go where Ronnie did to become and stay Mr. Olympia on any level.

Ronnie did an interview recently and said that while he always took 3 months off after the Olympia, he was so determined after 2022 to keep his title that he didn't take time off that year. He seems to attribute his gains in 2003 at least in part to that.

"I remember 5-6 years ago my close friend has worked with Chad for the offseason (was palnning to work precontest too but had an injury at the end of offseason). So, he shared Chad ideas with me, actually I was doing almost the same as he was told to do by Chad and I've to say that I have had the most productive offseason ever, went from 220-230 to solid 275 in 6 months...gear wise it wasn't somth special - just basics, that I was doing the last 5 years, but he new gains I made was due to introducin slin into my regime...slin and a lot of carbs, simple carbs. Was using humulin-r 3-4 times a week, on those days had tons of sugars as well, my diet looked smth like this:

hum-r (wokored up to 16IU)
then dextrose (up to 150grams), glutamine, bcaa
30min later complex carbs (oats)+simple carbs (raisins,bananas)+fast protein (whey protein)

regural meal (potatoes with beef or chicken and rice)

again humr-r
doxtrose, glutamine, bcaa
complex carbs+fast carbs+fast protein

regural meal

again humr-r
doxtrose, glutamine, bcaa

at one point I was up to 48iu hum-r a day and 900-1000g carbs 3-4 times a week. Wasn't more than 10-12% bf, because was using enough pharma HGH and was eating 1/2 amount of carbs on non slin days.

Up untill that point I couldn't gain any weight 2 or 3 offseasons and thought that I've reached my genetic potential, no matter how much gear I took couldn't get any bigger and was wondering how these pros is adding 20 30 40 or more pounds in few offseasons...after that offseason I've realised it was due to slin a lot of slin.
One single 6-12iu injection after workout of humalog is a joke if you want some serious mass you have to use hum-r 3 times a day at least 3 times a week. That is where magic happens, nots the grams and grams of gear tons of hgh but slin - the most powerfull hormone. Of course you need gear and hgh as well, but nothing like those crazy dosages I've seen on baords. 1g test (most), 500mg deca, 300mg tren, 50mg oxys 6iu good pharma hgh and 3x16iu/day hum-r - this combo with right diet can make into freak every single guy on this planet even with 1/2 of that combined with good response to drugs can be competetive as a pro."

I don’t think I would consider Getbig as a credible source for anything. LOL

I will tell you something and i learnt this from a pro.. alot of pros have abused.

When you hear 70s bodybuilders used 1-2 dbols and 1ml primo etc.. LOL

Bullshit.. franco use to come back from Europe with bags filled with deca/primo etc etc, they all abused. But they learnt after a while gains:reward ratio (ie point of negative returns).

And from trial and experience they realised (and this is without gh), after 1.5g region of AAS a week your body gets sick.. its like 1 panadol heals headache, 2 heals it faster, 20 and your in ER.

Same thing. The key as i said in above post. GH and Slin (nutrient partioning and IGF). Then a ~2-3g and your at the Pro level.

Rememeber when Kuwait bodybuilding was a thing? you go train with ahmed askar, this guy will eat your a*s with GH. Like legit dont be suprised 3-4iu 3-4 times a day. LOL.
