My goal is to gain lean mass at the moment(off season),drug free male, 28yrs old and setting PR's each time I train. Macros on training days are P 220 C 400 F 50. My question is, How often should I take time off from the weights.(Longer rest period) And how long do you guys usually take off? 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks...?(For recovery) I've been lifting, Mon(chest, tris, Wed(legs,bis forearms), Fri(delts,back) 1 heavy set 3 exercises per body part for the last 3.5 months. I'm not feeling tired or overtrained at the moment. Should I listen to my body and take time off when I start to feel tired/overtrained or should I have a set break since I've been going for awhile now? Or should I back off the heavy weights for a week or so and train lighter with more volume, then continue heavy again? Thanx guys!!
