I'm 27 years old and have been lifting for 8 years straight (edit: started at 155 lbs). Four years ago I started doing a couple cycles a year. It's always been 500 mg test/week.

Off cycle, I sit around 200 lbs (at 5'11") and 12 - 14% body fat. On cycle, I get to about 215 and 10%. This has happened for the last three cycles or so.

I'm not satisfied with how big I've been able to get though. At 500 mg/week, I'm hitting my limit at about 215 lbs. To get to 225 or 230 lbs on, should I up to something like 750 mg/week? A gram?

I'm doing all I can in the kitchen and gym. Trust me, I work hard at eating right and train intensely. I live like a body builder, even though I'm a little small. 215 is as big as I'm ever going to get on 500 mg.

Thoughts?

if all things are right in diet and exercise routine then size is pretty much determined by dose. i can almost pick a dose and tell you what i weigh on that dose.
NOT saying go mega dosing, but just a slight boost in dose will prolly spur some more size from my experience. just a 250mg boost will do the trick prolly. -JS
 
Eat more cause the increase in dose won't do jack if you don't have the calories to support it from the get go.
 
I agree with Gavin on this. I would like to see what you have been eating when your on cycle.
 
Whats wrong with 200 lbs? Why not strive to make the most of what you have? Get as ripped & lean as you can. Get your bodyfat down to an honest 8%. Use an accurate device to measure your bodyfat as well. Omron offers several affordable units that are very helpful. Bigger is not always better. I hate to see sooo many people spending countless hours and spending 1,000's of dollars to achieve "big". 200-210 can look huge & impressive if you do it right. Just my 2 cents on the subject.
 
im 6ft 220lbs, and i think any more bigger wouldnt look right on me so i agree maybe focusing on losing some body fat getting ripped and therefore will loke somewhat bigger and feel great
 
You said it yourself, and you've been training a long enough now to know that more food will not keep you lean as you gain mass, without adding more mgs.

So, if you want to grow, and it sounds like you do...then at this point in the game you must have more hormone supplementation. Calorie needs will increase in order to support the additional mass.

Many however dont mind fat gains as it adds leverage to your lifts...but thats not bodybuilding imo.

I'm 5'9" and 230lbs and feel small. I love bodybuilding. ;)
 
eat more and slighty up the dosage, jus my 0.02$
 
I personally, would just add a new compound(such as equipoise at 500mg week) and keep the testosterone at the dosage. And an oral to kick start such as dianabol at 35mg for the first 4 weeks.

Or simply try to reset the system by doing a cutting cycle, and after that a new cycle of testosterone at 500mg or more.
 
IF ONE WERE TO INCREASE IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE MUCH... if you are at 500 mgs of test then why not 600-700.. no need for more.. or one could do as stated above, and increase the anabolic ratio with eq or winny ect ect... but i do appreciate the route you are going.. staying low and working on diet and workouts until the gains just stop.. then adding just a bit.. baby steps.. as i have said before, if one goes right to a gram then were do ya go from there? 1250?.. silly... baby steps..;)

but strictly for shits and giggles what are the workouts like? days, sets ect...
