As the title says, it does occur to me most times lately. At times as I start falling asleep, I find myself forgetting to breathe. What is it?

Humans don't need to remember to breath, it's a natural thing.

Probably an early sign of apnea.

It might be related to anxiety. I had this for about a year when I quit rec drugs back in the days. Always happened right when I was drifting off. It took a while for my brain to readjust.

I am not sure if that is your case also but advice to void all stimulants or actually any drugs and alcohol.

Good luck,

TT

I do not drink any alcohol or take any stimulants. This started when gearing on Tren A, I did 2 cycles, it started slightly on my first, when I stopped, it went away totally then in my second cycle, it started back again after 5/6 weeks, but was stronger. It has been a month now that I am off, but still feel something slightly heavy on my chest, and the sleep issue comes on and off. Sometimes I put my head on the pillow, and I am gone no problem, at times not, it keeps hitting me, and I just keep on trying til I fall asleep.

My wife swears i do the same thing! I been doin it for years. But mostly when im at my bigest which is roughly 230 @ 10%. Sometimes she gets so worried im not gonna wake up! Its crazy, but Ive noticed when I am lean I have less issues at higher body weight.

Ask a Dr about this, sounds like sleep apnea. Can be pretty serious, dont fuck around.

Does this happen while you're sleeping? If so that's certainly sleep apnea...typically it gets worse as you get heavier. I think the thread starter is saying he stops breathing before falling asleep, while he's still attempting to pass out.

I got sleep apnea when I got into lifting. I guess the neck area got bigger and it would cause problems breathing. I did a sleep study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I was told there's no way to cure it blah blah blah.

Fast forward 2 years and I went overseas on a trip for 3 weeks. I didn't work out for a while and lost a lot of weight and muscle. Guess what happened to my sleep apnea? It went away.

That being said I think if one could focus on getting leaner I believe the sleep apnea will go away.
