Just a note to say hello. I have not been posting in a long time but I do still check out the new threads to keep up on what's going on.

Lots of personal drama - in a nutshell - I was laid-off from the company I have worked over 9 years for and my wife of 5 years and I spilt up right before Christmas. It's been a miserable end to 2007 and I am hoping 2008 is better.

Wish you all the best and I hope to be more active around here once my personal situation improves.

Sorry to hear that Coop. Layoffs and cutbacks are effecting a lot of people in many different fields. Hopefully you can patch things up with the Mrs. If that's what you two want, it can happen.

Whats with Women right Now? Im hearing this daily it seems..... My training partner here has been with his wife 12 years and Just a few weeks Back she tells Him shes Not happy anymore. Everything seemed fine with them then Oone day she Just decides Thats it. Crazy..... Hes been stressed out and depressed Like Ive never seen him. It sucks man, I hope things work out for the best in the end an things take a turn for the better.

Thanks for all the good words and thoughts everyone. This is always the spot I turn to when I can't sleep at night and need a distraction from life. On the positive side, I have been using my pain to energize my workouts and I have not really missed too many workouts due to this stress. Just trying to keep it all together...

Don't really know what to say man, but things do get better, life goes on and things change, I've been thru it all, lost my own brother, then my best friend hung himself, then my parents got divorced, then I got divorced, and it goes on and on (all bad) but thru it all I realized that I could only depend on me for my own happiness , and man when I finally accepted that...well it was very empowering, it doesn't mean you have to be a loner, it just means (for me) that I don't get too close to anyone, funny thing is my luck with the ladies has only improved since I adopted my new " I don't need you " attitude. It was hard at first and took some time but once I got used to it I would never go back to that needy guy. Not really sure if you get this or if it helps but , just trying to tell ya what worked for me, I really am happier than I have ever been, even with all the loss. Life truly is like a roller coaster.

These bros and sis's are the best! i am sorry to hear about your tribulations at the moment. But hey, it will get much much better.
