Too much healthy fats?

Hey Im on a cutting diet, low carbs, high protein, moderate fats but my question is having to much unsaturated fats from almonds, olive oil be reversely beneficial? Will I not lose weight as fast or what? I have about 400 grams protein/day, 60 grams carbs/day, and 300 grams fat day. I just dont want to be slamming healthy fats when its inhibiting my progress into getting lean.
 
Depends on your body's caloric requirements. "Healthy" or not, all fats are 9 calories per gram. The macros you listed add up to just over 4500 calories. Thats what I eat while bulking. Chances are you wont get lean eating this much.

What are your stats?
 
Unless you are pushing 260+ and LEAN, i dont understand how you dont get fat off the amount of food you are eating. 400 protein? Is that even necessary? 300 grams of fat? Are you eating almonds by the can and drinking olive oil like water? :confused:
 
Its actually 275 g protein, 97 grams of fats, 55 grams of carbs. Puts at 2200 calories. 300 cals below my 2500 maintence level. Im 5'9, 177 at about 9% bodyfat

Do you know what your eating? I've never seen anyone state they are consuming these numbers an then posting something completely different.

Thats a much more reasonable number, and yes, you will lean out properly at this caloric intake. If you are on the sauce, you can cut calories even more and still keep your muscle.
 
I was wondering if it's good to consume as much as healthy fats you want as long as you are below the maintance calories ( leaning out )

I have noticed that if my carb intake is at zero I can consume just about all the fat I want and will still shed bodyfat, like the atkins diet I guess. After a week or so I start to feel stupid and my brain is fuzzy, works though.
 
how do you fuck up your macros that bad? I bet you have never actually logged what you are eating for a whole day have you?
 
Providing my carbs are low enough <50g I can actually lean out on a high amount of calories than normal. Just look a bit flat from low carbs. Higher fat diets work better for the natural guys. Plenty of omega 3s and saturated fats boost test and controlling insulin (low carbs and low gi carbs) is a good way to lean out for nattys.
