topical tamoxifen gel for gyno? anybody know about this?

Study is on women of course but they measured some interesting things. Just as effective as oral but no drop in IGF1, less harmful to liver.

Higher concentrations in breast tissue with topical vs plasma concentrations...ie more drug stays in the breast tissue vs circulating around the bloodstream.

Its an analogue to tamoxifen that they are using 4-hydroxy-tamoxifen.

Didn't know tamoxifen increased chances of blood clots. I had used it many years prior to my heart attack but never had an issue. Something else for guys to think about.

yeah @maldorf its not a SUPER safe drug. I am interested in learning if anybody has actually used tamoxifen gel to prevent gyno (especially if they're prone)...seems like it would be a lot safer. The dosage is also lower (about half per day).

Keep us posted. I know a compounding pharmacy, but I've had a hard time getting a script. My clinic sells the tabs but wouldn't give me a script for the topical.

Nice. The versabase, I just checked, is available online for purchase. The topical thus should be easy enough to make at home, given the sources we have available on board.

Maybe a stupid question but I may try this and do it redneck style. Lol

Can’t we just use a research chem in liquid form and apply, maybe chasing it with a skin penetration enhancer like Plogel or DMSO to “push it through”?

Tamoxifene has a MW of 371.515 g/mol.

From what I recall from back in the Transdermal gear days, anything <400 daltons should be doable.

Anything is possible, from what the pharmacy told me there is a lot higher absorption rate. So I am starting at 10mg daily.
