hey,
had my surgery 4 days ago. was scheduled for 1.5 hours but took closer to 4 and a half. i was big and tight. it took awhile to do... whatever... all the shit that they do...
they opted to drill a groove and holes in my humerus and thread the muscle through it so the bone will heal around the muscle directly, and the tendon will play a much lesser role
in studies, this type of procedure had people at 102 percent pre-accident strength, as opposed to 95 percent (in more traditional tendon attachment surgeries) and 50-65 percent in non-operative patients
wanted to see if anyone else had this done?
feel like ass. took 10 minutes to type this.
