Warning for training your wife is un f'n believable. What is the difference between giving her advice or motivation and helping your training partner with form, spots, encouragement? It defies logic and points to insecurities in my opinion.
I go to one to the "corporate" clubs. Its expensive as heck probably $170-190 a month for a "family" membership. They were kind enough to define family as me and my girlfriend without being married. She goes about ten times a year and I invariably have to give her instruction or advice to help her. I would be dumbstruck if someone complained.
We have an indoor and outdoor pool with swimming instructors. If I see a kid drowning should I assist or yell for a trainer?
