Totally O/T, Camping Big Lake, AZ for JT :)

Here's some of Arizona at 9,200 feet elevation

First our camp site...it was great... found lots of down logs for firewood, which is also how i either severely sprained or fractured the tip of my middle finger (dropped a log on it!). I'm a total pyro and LOVE building campfires...bigger is always better!

ok it was only 1.5 miles but at that elevation... we were a bit out of breath! lol! poor harley was pooped all weekend!

Other then that, u are very lucky and the thought of a week of camping with no cell phone and nagging customers really feels good.

And Heck yea bout the fire.... throw the picnic tables in too!

one of the beauties of being in Phx is being so close to all kinds of weather... 3.5 hours from the beach in mexico, 5 hrs from big lake, 6 hrs from san diego beach, 5 hrs from vegas, 1.5 hrs from sedona where it's a little cooler and 2 hrs from flagstaff which is great and mountainous as well that's where our next camping trip will be to...probably in a few weeks!

during those 4 days we got all kinds of weather, 85 and sunny (HOT that close to the sun!), 65 and rain, then back to sun, then on sunday a major stormed rolled in with thunder so loud i almost had a heart attack, we also got pelted with hail and some pretty cold temps (stayed int he tent most of that night) and then the next day it was beautiful and sunny again...

it was a great time away! yes, NJPooldude... NO cell phones, no one but me and my two boys having a great time thinking about nothing but starting another fire, having a few more beers and playing some card games

LOL! well we did have some running water and we had LOTS of wipies with us! those things definitely come in handy

my homemade splint...taylor was in the army for 5 years so he rigged me a splint out of plastic silverware and some medical tape

I've been having a great time over the past month and next week, my dad and his gf come to town to visit... i'm still training and just started getting back to 45 minutes of cardio 5 days per week.
