This story just out in the UK. It is sobering for everyone who pops pills from an unknown origin.

You think it was contaminated, or maybe he was running some crazy dosages? Maybe a pre-existing condition aggravated by them?

that is very sad that happened to this young guy but how come steroids were blamed.it seems that the authorities heard he took steroids and automatically that was the cause of death.i am no medical expert but swallowing a couple of oral steroids and dying just doesnt make sense-there has to be some other reason for his death.

Exactly the case.

If I overdosed on ethanol that was labeled Benadryl, would they blame the harmful effects of ingesting too much of a medication?

with all respect to the deceased. i doubt the pills had any steroid in them.

I would have to agree. That doesn't sound like any effect from a steroid. That sounds a lot like some other drug. Of course they never bother to tell us what the toxicology report is from the autopsy or test any remaining pills. They just want the public to be scared of steroids.

sorry for his death but no 17 or 18 year old has any buisness experimenting with steroids.grow up first then let other things come along

it is a very sad day and I feel very bad this happened to that young man, but I also must say that there could not have been steroids in those pills and it was probably something else. someone his age should not have been messing with steroids giving his age and the amount of test he was producing naturally.
