Training and cycles while sick

Yay! it's Valentines Day, I don't have a date and now I'm sick :rolleyes: Anyway, what's your opinions on training while sick. I hate missing workouts. Should I train light, or just bypass it all together. Also, I'm scheduled to start a cycle on Friday. Should I hold off until I'm not sick anymore or does it not matter? Well, I guess if I can't train the cycle would be useless anyway, huh?
 
dont train, dont start a cycle. your sick, listen to your body. rest.
 
If its a cold or flu its silly to go training. You will only make things worse. When your body is trying to fight infection the last thing it needs is to try to build muscle. Get plenty of rest and get the Vit C into ya. Best of luck buddy hope you are better soon.
 
A few weeks into my last cycle I came down with mono. I wasn't gonna let it ruin my cycle so I would rest all day and have just enough energy to make it to the gym an hour and a half everyday. Didn't go to class, failed that semester, but made decent gains!
 
Whoa, it's nothing like that LOL! Just either a bad cold or mild flu. I think I'll take the advice to just rest and try to knock this thing out of my system.

Eat lots and drink tons of water. Rest and don't start until your better. When you do start back training take it light for the first week to make sure you don't get a rebound attack of the bug. You may not feel like eating but you must fuel your immune system now and food is the trick.
