Ok I am not going to waste the time explaining the importance of the right training music. You all know.

There are 3 types of music I listen to when I lift
Hard rock - Manson, metallica, Korn, NIN, Disturbed, Bizkit, Hatebreed, slipknot,
Not a place for U2 . I also like the classics like ACDC Zepplin etc.

Hard Rap
Eminem, TheGame (of course), Lil John, DMX, Xzibit, Ice Cube, Dre, Snoop
You wont find and gold digger here.

And Tech/euro club stuff, You know the stuff that will make you want to move even after 3 sets of squat.

This is the area I need some expansion on... I always find maybe 1 song or two I like by a group and the rest is junk.
Heres whats on my Ipod now

Eifle 65
2unlimited
The Blade soundtracks ( nothing like a lil vampire slashing to get you going)
crystal method
chemical brothers
Prodigy
Gravity Killz
Fear factory
Fat boy slim
Benny Bensani

So lets here what you guys got blasting your ears while your blasting the weights I need some new shit.

killswitch engage
black label society
five bolt main
sevendust

i like

mudvayne and rage against the machine

Game, you have PM.

Dance music is good, if not then Guns n Roses/anything hard.

Recently been listening too 80's-90's pop/rock.

I still like Skinny Puppy a lot. They are kind of a dark mix of techno and heavy metal. I love to kick off a workout with "Testure"

Awesome choices man...

I'll add:

Pantera
Norma Jean
Madball

i can lift to any rage against the machine song
Eminem has some good angry songs that are good to lift to
And I don't know why but ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH puts me in the zone.

lifting: heavy metal and industrial metal

cardio: trance, house, club, dance, etc....

CARMA CAMELEON BY BOY GEORGE.. crank it up and start deadlifting.. follow that up with DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME and you have pure rage...

BWAHAHAHA... I'll take a hit of "HELLO" from Lionel Richie and maybe some "NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP" by the white guy who sounded black.

Nonpoint
Bullet for my Valentine
Five Bolt Main
Three Days Grace
Godsmack
Drowning Pool
Finger Eleven
Motorhead
Shadows Fall

For rap you can't go wrong with:
DMX
Tupac
B.I.G
The Game
Eminem
T.I.
Young Jeezy
