Ive been adding weight or reps for about 12 weeks to all exercises, but a few weeks ago started losing reps and weights feel real heavy..took an easy week with some lighter weights and then last week lost all motivation to train...so I did some light weight low volume training, just two days and took the rest of the week off.. Today did chest delts and tris and sucked on every thing but tris...I either just made my best from two weeks ago or didn't make it.....the only muscle group i was able to beat my last workout was tri's and I killed the old numbers....even thought cals are up and I'm eating more than last month
WTF???
Is it time to change exercises??
Drop the weights on current exercises and work back up again??

How many sets are you doing for each movement? Do you use straight sets,ect. Shed a little light on what one of your bodypart workouts look like.
We all will platue at one point.

You may have lost some strength with the easy week and then the week off. I would. Stay consistent and it should come back.

I'm doing BigA's Priciples for beginers work out from the beginer section, not that I'm a beginer, been traing for 15yrs just havent gotten good results so I decided to start from scratch, hence the beginer workout.. I do as many warmups as needed then 1 set to failure, two exersizes per body part, add weight or reps every work out, train 3 -4 days per week. Currently on cycle, and eating 350gms protein, 300 carbs, approx 50gms fat...

Ya think I should just stay the course and change nothing, just keep trying to beat my log book??
 
I was in the same boat you were and when using HIT training would always hit a wall. I then stumbled across some articles by Lee Apperson who trains with High intensity training but cycles it along with Endurance and Bodybuilding type training. I have done this now for a year and continue to make gains and am stronger when i come back to the strength training cycle.
I think training to failure and at that intensity level for long periods just drains you physically and mentaly and you need a break.
When i go from strength training to a more bodybuilding routine the gains in muscle size come more quickly.
