amen! im not trying to be a pro bber anyway. I can tell you what iv switched to a dorian yates style hit and only doing one set to failure and one or two pumps ups. iv seen much better results compared to the going to failure every set.
now that i train by myself my one working set ill do a complete rest puase on some but on therers ill stop for 5 seconds and get a few more reps out.

Yup... If you REALLY get stuck on bench SOMEONE will always be watching your set and you can sort of give them a "hey bro" and a nod and they can pick it up off you haha.
