Travelin to Tempe... anything fun?

hey guys... i am coming to tempe from wed nite thru friday nite for some software training during the day.. in the evening i have nothing to do but sit at the hotel.. .anyone got any great ideas, or suggestions as to whats fun?? im coming by myself, so i dont have to drag along anyone else.... im up for a good time on thursday...

There is a Hooters there, get some grub there and check out the view.... then go to a plce called the Rockin Rodeo (I think that is what it is called) I had a real good time there....
Ask Vander or Phil also, as they both have lived in that area, I think BBA may also...

Rockin Rodeo I believe is now "Graham Central Station"...but that is south Tempe...not near downtown.

Best place to hang out for the weekend in Tempe would just be downtown...5th and Mill area...

If you can't get into some fun there, you're boring

Then hit up Old Town Scottsdale: James Hotel, Crown Room, Suede, E4, Myst and bring a camera.

|--[\\\]>--------- yeah, Tempe is whre the ASU campus is, so there are a lot of drunk young girls there, i say the most popular place in Tempe is ACME. But TONE is right, go to south Scottsdale, i used to bounce at Axis and Bacelonas. Axis is right in the heart of all the action along with Pussycat lounge and Myst, but if you go further north, that is where Bacelonas is, that is the BEST place to go, lots of fine woman, and man, everynite i worked i got hit on so there is hope for you! LOL! if i could pull some ass there, so could you!

Do you guys ever go to Kyoto Sushi, that restaurant that is right across the street from that new Stingray place? I freaking love that place, my girlfriend and I can go in and eat like kings for 50 bucks, that place is so reasonably priced. Just checking, don't know if I am far off

my hotel is the Holiday Inn down by the campus... and no, dont have any transportation.. but i will check out these places.... thanks BBA... if you can get lucky, the i definately think i can!!! LOL!!!!!

I too live here in AZ, Scottsdale to be exact, and unless you like walking up and down Mill Ave with a bunch of drunk kids, then get a cab into Scottsdale. Im not a big fan of the bar scene but there is some good places to eat and drink in Scottsdale...depends on what you are into.

Yeah, I've gone to a couple B day parties at Stingray....cool place, just kinda small. That fishtank that you stand on really freaks me the fuck out though!

Kyoto is badass. I've known the owners for like 15 years. You should go there for lunch. It's like 4 bucks and you can either get teryaki beef/chicken or white fish, a salad and some rice.

|--[\\\]>--------- For sushi and dinning, my girl and i go to Shogun on Tatum and Cactus, for TONS of sushi buffet style, we hit up Sushi 101 on Rural once a week...$22 all yuo can eat, they cringe when they see me walk up b/c i REALLY take advantage of the 'all you can eat" LOL!
