Anybody have any issues/experience traveling with their protein powders, frozen meals, small blenders, etc in their carry ons. I am planning on shrink-sealing and freezing all of my food rather than using cold packs to keep it cold which TSA might flag. Experiences/thoughts ???

"Flying home at xmas my parents sent me with a hand held blender for my girlfriend. I packed it in the carry on to keep it safe. Not even thinking about the potential blades it had. TSA stopped me and the went back and forth between the agent and supervisor as to the type of blades it had (exposed or not). In the end they found my handheld blender to not be a threat to the safety of others and gave me the obligatory speech on not carrying anything with blades. I felt like an *** for not thinking of the blades ahead of time, but luckily common sense and cooler heads prevailed and the plane was safe from my blender."
