Tren Ace and Heartburn

Yep, I used to get it too. Over the counter drugs might help symptoms, but apple cider vinegar will cure it. 1/4 cup 3 times a day the first day (heavily diluted in water). Then 1/4 cup a day maintenance dose....

not for people with deeper issues like fungal overgrowth, bacterial overgrowth or another form of parasite. These are not as uncommon as western doctors like to believe. They're hard to diagnose and treat often times. I was in REALLY bad shape a year ago. Saw many specialists and all just said I have worsening gastroparesis and acid reflux. They insisted on me staying on prilosec long term. My digestion got worse and worse to the point where I could not eat.

Turned out I had multiple parasites, treated with specific antibiotics, leading to a fungal overgrowth (usually one thing leads to the next with the gut), requiring more treatment, dietary modifications, etc. Took over 6 months of RX and herbal/dietary treatment to remedy. It was HELL.

However... I'm now OFF of prilosec, no longer have gastroparesis, and all the doctors are scratching their heads.

I get it every time. Anything over 30mg a day of tren gives me terrible heartburn and indigestion, but Prilosec usually gets rid of it after a day or so. I usually have to take papaya/digestive enzymes because of the reduced acid production from the Prilosec as well. Lately though, I just stick to higher test and only 30 mg of tren a day to avoid all of that. A little tren goes a long way.

Yeah... Trendigestion is a bitch. I like to run tren all year round for the most part at a minimum dose of 30mg/ED... Even at 30mg I get it. I use Kirkland brand Lansoprazole when it gets really bad... Tried changing diet around, etc. nothing helped... It's the tren.

Tren used to make my pre-existing digestion issues even worse. Likely via it's strong androgenic and mild progestenic activity.

Hormonal fluctuations can affect gut motility and acid secretion as well as mineral balance (which can affect acid/base production during digestion and gut motility...)...BUT, when I got really sick (GI issues) and took the time to clean out and rebuild my GI system, I haven't gotten any tren or hormone-related heartburn symptoms.

Most peopel have pretty toxic guts, especially those who have eaten high carb diets for a while and especially those who use or have used acid suppressing meds. Bacterial overgrowth is highly likely.

I recommend about 800mg Magnesium per day. Most people are deficient, especially those taking calcium supplements (bad idea btw) and/or chewing calcium based ant-acids often. Take the mag in the evening (I like Natural Calm) and it will help keep your GI tract more motile, as well as calm you down a bit (this always helps on tren).

A diet more along the lines of John Meadows suggestions would, in my experience, help avoid a lot of GI issues associated with high food intake and high carb intake.

Do you recommend a proabotic or digestive enzymes along with the 800mg Magnesium per day?

Yes definitely, but only after any potential bacterial overgrowth is remedied. For example, when I had developed some bad SIBO over the course of GI hell that I went through, adding probiotics to the mix made symptoms worse.

What happened was my GI motility was so slow, and bacteria ("good" and "bad" bugs) were overpopulating my small intestine (should be low concentration of bacteria there). I had to take the SIBO down with antibiotics, but afterwards loaded on probiotics and real fermented foods like unpasteurized sauerkraut (Bubbies brand) to re-establish good flora. I use VSL#3 or Natren probiotics for the lactic acid strains.

The magnesium aids greatly in GI motility (peristalsis).

On a related note - serotonin plays a major role in the gut for motility. Serotonin is produced by healthy gut flora - which is lacking in most peopel due to antibiotic use, etc. No wonder SSRI's are handed out like candy. When I fixed up my gut, my depression, mood swings almost disappeared entirely.
